I recently bought a new computer and I hooked up the Ethernet cable from: http://home.singtel.com/upload_hub/consumer/2wire-1800hg.jpg to the back of my computer. I am able to surf online but whenever I use any programs that require internet, it isn't available. For example, I downloaded ITunes and the itunes store could not access internet. For games like Combat Arms or Maplestory, it will not load because it doesn't connect to the internet. Browsing using firefox or internet explorer is fine. Does anyone know my problem? THanks in advance.
O Yeah, if this matters, I have 2 Ethernet cords hooked up because I have 2 computers.

Are you using a firewall? Often ports present the problem when this happens.

Are you using a firewall? Often ports present the problem when this happens. |
How can I check if I have a firewall present
