Okay. I'm a big user of Google, just like alot of people.
And I havn't downloaded anything recently, but everytime I try and open a link off of Google a god damn ad pops up in it's place! The link to the website I want only starts to work after i've clicked it 2-4 times.
What i'm trying to download is .NET Framework 3.5
It does this for ALL links on Google.
Can anyone help me here?
I probably have some annoying ad program somewhere.
Is it possible to get rid of it?

EDIT: Okay, i've found something out, all my searches are taking me through this thing called ecata!
It's taking me through that website about 2 more and then to an annoying ad I don't want to be on.
If that can help in any other way? Like if anyone knows about Ecata

EDIT: Also my AV's refuse to update!

EDIT: This just keeps getting WORSE AND WORSE!! I've found out that other people have gotten this before, people have said AV's won't find it. Aparantly the file is c:\windows\system32\drivers\mqpdwhospwsw.sys and it's extremely hidden. It redirects me from sites. Slows down my downloads, Won't even let me download things from Microsoft or respectable AV Sites!

I've already scanned my internet browsers files.
I started a whole computer scan before I left.
I also did one last night and nothing came up.

you shouldn't be getting pop ups when clicking google links. I never have/had them before, you should really scan with your AV

I've already had that answer.
And i've told them, I scanned last night. And before I left I put on a whole computer scan.
And I got nothing when I scanned last night.

run it and restart firefox soon as it's done

you never have to see an ad on the interweb again.

You sure that'll work?
Because what actually happens, is when I click on the link, it opens what I wanted into a new window, and changes the url into some annoying ad that I don't want to see.

I have Spybot Search & Destroy. I'm not sure if it picked anything up. I hadn't been on my computer for a while before I found I kept getting a load of unwanted ads.
I'll try Lavasoft aswell. I'll make sure to do full scans with both.. that'll take a while D:

Did you try deleting your cookies and internet cashe?
Because this is what happened to me when I first went on inapropriete
sites... and I just deleted my cashe and everything worked fine.
