The old program that disables the Windows (menu) key, I need to know if there's another way to do that for Vista. Not the manual registry edit that's out everywhere and requires a restart. Any information?
P.S. I know I should have some crazy, pro new keyboard that has a button to disable it, but I'm mad old school. Hell, I just bought a PII JUST for Fasttracker 2.

Why don't u want the registry.
it's the best way because...
1.You know it's safe, no viruses...
2.saves less memory then a program running
3.Safer because it doesn't override button like other program's...
Why don't u want to restart lol...

It's just that I go back and forth between older (awesome) games that don't disable the Windows key and other programs. I wouldn't mind the overhead, since memory isn't too huge of a deal (Winkeykiller was only 10kB disk space, 40kB memory). However, if nothing's out there, I'll just throw something together real quick to toggle the registry edit with a hotkey and restart.
EDIT:
The registry edit is only supported through XP. (Doesn't work in Vista).
EDIT:
I'm just using SharpKeys (for now). Problems solved.

That's got nothing to do with what this thread was about...
