Donning it the G3 series and sporting new flash management software - Extreme For Fuck's Sake.
(Joke. The Technology is Extreme FFS. I don't know what FFS stands for.)
Prices are $149 for a 60GB model, $249 for a 120GB version and $499 for a 240GB drive.
Thats 2.08$USD per GB compared to Intel's 6.25$USD a GB.
If the specs they boasted are true, it'll stand to best the X25 at write rate as well as staying only 50MB behind the read rate.

FFS = For Fuck Sake
Sandisk is a leading brand in Flash technology.
USB Thumb Drive's, Memory Card's etc...
It's no surprise Sandisk has made such a great Flash based SSD....

Why the hell is everything technology-wise starting to be called 3G? I mean, the third-generation telecommunications deal. But jeez..
Oh, and I might just buy one of those. SSDs are going down in price quite soon from where I expected them to.

Sorry, its G3. I got it backwards when I posted. :<
SSDs are going to dip into reasonable prices by the end of this year, hopefully. They really are a fantastic piece of equipment.

Damn I can't remember which type of cell has the better advantage?
SLC or MLC?
Single-level cell or Multi-level cell
