ESET Nod32, and Kaspersky are two good choices if you're looking to change.

you bought norton?
wow, some of the top antiviruses are free... and even the best ones are if you know where to look.

download Avira antivirus and do the trick to stop it asking you to buy it every time it updates.

I use ESET NOD32

I DO NOT recommend AVG because it detected (I know this sounds stupid) hal.dll and lsass.exe (a required process) as a virus, and tried to make me delete it. It would pick up my system files as viruses. ESET NOD32 detects viruses as viruses and not system files as viruses.

it's possible that you're system files were infected...

More than possible. Corrupted/infected hal.dll often goes hand in hand with viruses.

No its a bug at AVG, they even wrote that on their own site.

I DO NOT recommend kaspersky, its one of the crappiest out there.

Theres 3 choises for you:
- NOD 32
- Avira antivirus (recommended)
- Avast

Use Norton. It works 100% and protects you from alot of keyloggers, DNS changes, backdoors, rootkits, and speeds up your perfromance speed!

I never really found out what you have against it... All I've EVER read is complaints about its price and install time. If it's the firewall, there's no reason the user can't use a different program separately. If it's anti-spyware, there are better tools anyway.

If you dont mind things popping up, get KasperSky, It's a pain in the ass but it works, you need to do so manual things, sometimes it detects your games suspicious.

Same, my first computer had Nortan. I had more virus with Nortan on then with it off.

That is why I switched to Kaspersky. Currently tring NOD32.
