Its getting on my nerves
I currently have 3/37gb on it.
My biggest installed program is 200mb, and my installed programs are 1gb total.
I run tuneup and ccleaner, it only cleans like 5mb (sometimes 1gb if IE cache is filled for some gay reason)
Any idea why?

| Same thing is happening to my new install of XP on my laptop, but it was an nLite'd disk full of frameworks and shit. I'm making a new one for a baseline later today or tomorrow.

I had the same problem... my fix was getting rid of Spyware doctor... do you have that?

yeah some programs do that
i had that problem with adaware and avg
maybe you have curropt ram ???

Try defragmenting the drive.It usually helps me a lot 
Also try running a scan for viruses and such things.
THey tend to eat up HDD space.

Well the same things happens to me but I get and install alot of updates
ex. Firefox updates, Ares Updates, Itunes updates, Windows thingy,
other Java shit and it just builds up.

Maybe it's your system restore? I remember there was this option to make a new restore point everytime you install a program, I didnt notice it was on and the day i cleared my system restore, it freed up around 10 gigs of HDD space...

I clear all my system restores except for the latest one (glad I saved one, it saved my computer)
I clear those all the time.
