Thats some big bullshit. You can't max out oblivion without getting lag.
Cod4 takes less the oblivion so your theory fucks up there.
O quote from a review:
Quote: | The 3450 fared worse, but considering its $50 price tag, it's hard to complain. It managed 14 fps on average in Oblivion at the ultra high settings, and only 8 fps in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: oof! Moving to the medium settings for each about doubled the frame rates, producing a tolerable experience for gamers on an ultra-tight budget who don't mind losing some of the scene quality. |

14 FPS @ average setup

What video card can I get that will allow me to play "Rainbow six 3 : Vegas 2" on max settings? I currently use a PNY GeForce 9500 GT 512mb, But when I'm hiding behind a wall to shoot while blind (You'll know what I mean if you played it) I start seeing pixels on my character, Which isn't supposed to happen... and after 1 hour of playing It starts lagging like shit lol. _________________

Sounds a little like the GPU's heating up.
I'm not really sure what you'd need to run it on high, but if it's any indication, my HD 4850 (while having stock clocks) gets 70-75fps, dipping down to a little over 60 when it gets more intense. That's with 1680x1050 resolution and the highest anti-aliasing setting. |
