For the past couple of days randomly when I am doing Anything on my computer such as browsing internet, playing a game, basically anything

It says Windows Explorer has crashed and needs to restart...

So I click okay and my whole desktop crashes and refreshes, I lose everything I am doing and it is really annoying

Quicktip: Instead of Loggin out and in.
Task Manager > File > New Task... > epxlorer.exe > OK

That should re-start the explorer.exe process so the only things you should loose are the opened folder's...

Try this:
http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php

It works, but it's there are alot of false positives. I recommend you to use this in safe mode. This helped me get out of a problem similar to yours.
