1st- how do i know that cheat engine 5.4 or 5.3 will not give me a virus?
last time it gave it a virus....

2nd- do i have to pay for cheat engine? cuz last time i downloaded it it said something about a license.

1: If you downloaded it from cheatengine.org it's safe
If your anti virus says it is either disable your av or kill yourself

2: No, it's free, you downloading cheat engine actually costs me money.
As for the license thing, it could be last time you ran it it was the first day of april.
