|
|
Ok, everyone.. You might say I'm crazy, or simply mother f**king rich.. xD But I'd just like to know if it's compatible. So correct me if I'm wrong, and also, I might forget a couple of hardrive necessary. So yeahh..
Kk.. So here I go:
Motherboard : Intel® Desktop Board DX58SO
Processor : Intel® Core™ i7 Processor Extreme Edition
Power Supply : Corsair CMPSU-1000HX 1000-Watt Power Supply - ATX, 140mm Fan, SATA-Ready, SLI Ready
Graphic Card : ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 X2 ( Maybe CrossFireX ..so.. estimate it xD)
Hardrive : Seagate 1TB 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
Computer Case: Some random computer case that fits the motherboard
Sound card: Razer Barracuda™ AC-1
OS : Window Vista 64-bit
DVD/CD : LG 22X Super Multi Internal DVD Rewriter With LightScribe (GH22)
Misc. : A few cords, Power cords, A System Disk
Thanks.

Consider donating/throwing your money to people...
Your build is meh, but it should work.
Intel Desktop Boards aren't the best for your money, check out Gigabyte's model or Asus. Core i7 920 until EE drops in price. 750W should be more than enough (even for a crazy CrossFire solution). CrossFireX on dual HD 4870X2 will not only result in insane power usage, but also be completely incompatible with some games. Performance isn't that great unless your running on a 30" monitor/2560x1600 or something extreme. Onboard sound chips are usually enough for everyone except for demanding audiophiles, especially if you don't have the sound system to match it.
I'd also be worried about airflow; even with a case with good airflow, the size of 2 huge dual slot graphics cards and a sound card will probably block a lot of air. You'll probably run low on expansion slots too, if you're thinking CF.

I wouldn't call it wise to get an i7 before AMDs new line comes out. Either that, or consider donating/throwing your money to people...
OW8.

| Well.. What would you recommand?.. Cause, umm.. Yeah.. Also, is AMD and Nvidia good. Cause I got a computer, that has AMD with Nvidia, and it really badly super duper uberly suck. And it was 1000$. And I said maybe crossfire, I don't think crossfire is really that good. Cause, it only +25% or sumthing like that of the performance.

That should all work fine.
To answer your question, Intel and ATI typically have better products at the time being.
Sound cards are useless unless you are an audiophile, the on-board audio should be just fine there.
Where's the RAM?

| Crossfire is a lot better than +25%... if that was all it offered, no one would even bother with it. I recommend you do your research and learn about computer components before you go out and buy all this stuff...

But just to tell you. Liquid cooling would be best but if your on a budget get some good fans and hopefully your case has a clear side T_T

1. Liquid cooling (a good system) is expensive. Compared to a $45-50 air cooling system, it's simply not worth it unless your computer is of really high quality and/or you're going to massively overclock (break a record).
2. Why would a case need a clear side?

Reason for clear side : You could see if theres something wrong with your cpu and if its smoking or something like that. It would be best because also to check things if your overclocking , LC or ETC
LC reason: Well he has 1000 Watts and a i7 you never know if he starting getting some more ram or a better graphics card as well as maybe even a Blu-Ray. You never know. And plus if he overclocks it would be better. I would say a i7 Cpu and what he has is pretty much expensive.

| Processors and motherboards don't often smoke, and you probably wouldn't be able to see anything wrong with your CPU if there was. It's true that you can see if something happens with your LC, but if you don't get a piece of shit $100 one, leaks will be much less of an issue.
