Hello. Sorry about the silly question, I just wanted to confirm. I have a game and it's version gets updated like once every couple months (All the static pointers seem to change after an update). But the pointer depth and offsets rarly get changed much/if at all. If I want to fine tune a "Pointer Scan" for next time is the minimum "Size of Structure" the addition of all the offsets?

For example, I have the following pointer.

[0x0086AF70] = B
[B+0x230] = A
[A+0x4e14] = PaneON

Say the "PaneON" is at 0x1086CB7C (and is 1). The Minimum setting search to find the static pointer would be "Max Level: 3" "Size of Structure: 0x230 + 0x4e14 = 0x5044 (20,548 Decimal)" (Size of Structure is Dec not Hex aye?).

And in this case "Max Level" is 3 aye?

Or is "Size of Structure" the actual size of the structure? IE offset for 2nd pinter is 0x230, but the size of that structure could be a lot bigger...

size of structure is the maximum block of memory it asumes belongs to a structure. (set as dec, but if you append a $ or 0x in front it'll interprit it as hex)

It should always be set to at least the maximum offset you've encountered previously.
So if the max offset you've seen fo far is 0x4e14 then that should be set as max (+4 for the size of the pointer)

also, to speed the scan up, if you know by doing some basic debugging and figure out at least the last step to PaneOn and know the address needed to find PaneON you can decrease to a level 2 scan , scan for that address and a max structsize of 0x234 (a lot faster)
