|
|
Hello,
First of all, I'm using vista.
When I had XP I could easily change file types by adding like .jpg, .dll, .exe and so on.
But now with Vista, The files doesn't show .jpg, .exe, etc....
I had this .dll file, and I changed it to .jpg.
And then I changed it back to .dll and it stayed as a jpg.
Is there a way to make vista show filetypes in the name?
Ex. 'Picture.jpg' Instead of 'Picture'.
Thanks!

Disable "Hide extensions for known file types" in your Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View menu. It wasn't new stuff, XP had the feature too (I'm running XP right now though).
