I've had this problem for a couple days now.
I just got a new computer, and installed windows server 2008 enterprise (64-bit) edition on it.
I install the adapter, the drivers didn't work.
I got drivers for vista 64 bit from the dlink site, and it says that its working fine.
But my problem is, the adapter doesn't seem to be like..turning on?
It gets warm like its working and is detected as working, but the orange light doesn't turn on.
When I put it into the USB port, it flickers once for about half a second then nothing at all.
Anything I can do to make this work?
Also, I tried this with a linksys internet adapter, the power turned on, but the link light stayed out.
Computer specs:
8 GB of RAM.
Amd phenom quad core processor
windows server 2008 enterprise edition.
Model: HP elite desktop m9400f
I will answer any questions asked.
It did the same thing when it had vista on it. except, with vista, it had a built in card that could connect to my router at 54 MBPS, but I can't use it now that im on windows server 2008, unless theres something special i have to do.
