I need tips.
My RAM is extremely low, so I'm definately upgrading that, and I wouldn't mind new graphics cards/drivers.
Tips/Helps/Links are welcome/helpful.

try more ram before you buy a whole bunch of stuff sometimes that solves it without upgrading other things

Yeah, you really need to state all your specs...
If you have like a 200watt powersupply, you cannot get that good of a GPU.
If you motherboard does not support DDR2 and/or DDR3, you can't get that good of a RAM.
If your motherboard doesn't have ANY or OPEN PCI-E slots, you can't get that good of a GPU...
Also this info is crucial.

DDR3 is rather usless, because DDR2 is so much cheaper and you will find you get same preformance.
Also if he got AGP / PCI-e
