so, since the day i turned autorun off (to avoid viruses), whenever i try burning with the windows xp wizard, i get an error "there is no disc in the drive. please insert a writable cd into drive E:\"

not such big of a problem, since i have nero, but its sometime faster to just drag drop and burn instead of running nero and starting to configure all the options.

i tried turning autorun back on, but it doesnt do anything.

Try right clicking on the DVD drive icon select properties and play arround in there i cant tell you exactly because i got vista
