okay ive got a choice of two upgrades available here is the specs which can be upgraded 320gb hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS
the upgrades are :
1. 640 gb hard drive
2. NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
please tell which upgrade would be better.
I am a gamer and im also a heavy downloader lol

| NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT. Much more expensive, plus you can always buy portable HDDs.

get a better card then that. get an 8800, or a 9800.

Its a laptop.. and that 9600 is the only available upgrade
I would so go with the video card upgrade or both because you said you game and heavly download..
but if you need to choose then video card

YOU CAN NOT PUT A 9800 IN A LAPTOP FFS!
And get the 9600M and if you think that 320 gigs isnt enough for you, get an external HDD

The video card is definitely your best bet. Not to mention, there's no such thing as a 640GB 2.5" drive that would fit in a laptop, so someone's pulling your leg.

or 320GB x2. But whatever, get the video card.
