You can't really say like that, because if you got a small screen you wont see
any difference with 256MB/512MB.
We have to know more before telling you.

Try play at 640x440 and you will not gain even little on more memory.
Don't say stuff you don't know about.

| The card will be able to take advantage of 512MB of memory, because of it's 256-bit memory interface. But, at ultra-low resolutions, there won't be much of a difference.

This is confirmed alot of times.
Same as if you buy 1GB, you will not gain anymore then a 512MB
if your not going to play over the res 1920*1200.
The higher res, the higher amount of memory you will need, its just like that.

true, i always play in 1080p bluray mode on my monitor so thats why i have 4 cards. Still i think he needs 512MB so he can at least play 1440*900

well i really have no use for it.... i didnt know that i was going to get 4 of these, i was to lazy to read what the difference was between a three thousand dollar computer and a seven thousand dollar one, but what ever right now i got 3 monitors on them and a hi-def tv

You could have that with just dual 6800gs.
Does dual screens work with CF?
Nvidia just fixed it with the newest patch, "bigbang 2".
