Do this...

Buy an external HD enclosure ( 40 AUD ~ )
Buy an 1 TB hard drive ( 190 AUD ~ )

You can find deals anywhere between 200 to 250 total...

YOU MUST GET AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE WITH A FAN! Or else your 1TB hdd wont last as long.

check the catalogues, because i've seen 1tb external hdd's in my area (yes i live in australia) for around the $200 mark, and sometimes even less. also try out a super billing store if you live near one.

Yeah, I've seen one at JBHiFi for $209. Or, you could get the case and the 1TB HDD for around the same price.

http://www.ple.com.au/?p=snapshot&inventory_id=35161

$199 and deliver to most areas across Aus.
I use PLE, and they are pretty helpful with warranties and such.
