Hey it's been long time since i saw this forum. I'm doing very great with my hacking, hacked some offline games and one MMORPG(btw started playing it =D) with nProtect(without UCE, just 2 bypasses)

Now i have question: What is offset? From where ppl know what to write in offset window?

in this case offset means the difference in bytes from the starting point to where you need to be.
(e.g pointer at 00501234 points to 00400000, offset holds 50, so final address is 00400050)

you usually find the offset by finding the start and calculating the offset yourself, or looking at the assembler instruction (e.g mov eax,[ebx+50] would indicate a offset of 50)

Thx, but now i got second problem: how to find pointer address? oh and when i hack something using bypasses i cant use "find out what writes to this address", whY?
