If you haven't heard of it yet, it's this powder that you mix with water and it contains everything you need.

Pros:
Save time (no cooking, no dishes, no going to the store)
Save space (no cupboard full of ingredients)
Save money (about 5 euro a day, no need for fridge)
Doesn't spoil (opened bag lasts about 6 months)
Healthy

Cons:
The taste

Tastes like whole-wheat cereal mixed together with fruit. But it does get better the more you drink it. If you use one bag in the supplied shaker, the mixture is very thick and hard to swallow. But if you use half a bag it's way better. If you use one third of a bag it tastes too watered-down.
At first when I got hungry I felt like eating real food, and it felt awkward drinking Soylent instead of eating. But today I got hungry and actually started craving the Soylent I had prepared in the morning.

Each bag contains ~700 calories. I thought that this wasn't going to be enough, that I needed at least 3000 calories a day seeing as how much I move at work, but it turns out 2100 calories a day is plenty. I guess the food I used to east wasn't as nutritious.

I've started kind of liking the taste once I figured out how much water to add and now that I'm used to it. Still doesn't feel as satisfying as eating normal food but it's well worth it for me.

I spend only slightly more on food per week.

Plus there are no long term studies as to the effects of living on processed foods. How do you know you won't develop cancer or something after some years?
