How do I cheat?

hello all,
i've used search, but no luck, so probably this is the first thread of this kind.. if not, please redirect me
so, i have vista ultimate, .net 3.5 and i can't use speed hack with cheat engine 5.4 nor with earlier versions. in CE 5.3 it says

(i can't post URLs yet so just replace ** with tt  )
while in CE 5.4 i just can't tick the box near 'enable speedhack'.
is there nay way how this can be solved? i've also tried the 'compatibility with XP' on cheatengine.exe file, but no luck. while i was using XP, everythng worked just fine... :/

the speedhack should work on 5.4 if you target a 32-bit process
Just make sure your anti virus didn't delete cehook.dll

tnx for your reply dark byte, but i've found the solution.
instead of downloading from cheatengine dot org i've downloaded it from here

(it needs tripple w ..i hate restrictions :p)
and it works!
btw, the target was a flash game in firefox3. vista is 32bit.
