my computer suddenly breaks and i bring it to a repairman that dofus suddenly turns my IE 6 into 7 which is so dumb Its hard to use and slow as hell Can someone plz tell me how to down-grade it?

Use mozilla! If you dont want to use mozilla then you have to uninstall IE and install IE 6 after it, and turn off automatic updates so you wont have anymore these problems.

stop using IE altogether it's pretty shit.
I don't know of any way to uninstall IE though and i doubt IE6 will install over IE7
Dynaster: windows updates add security fixes etc. turning them off isn't really a good idea.

In the past in order to get IE7 you must pass the genuine advantage, but now you don't since microsoft took it out due to a security hole with IE 6 and they urge users to upgrade to IE7.

Even if he did upgrade to IE7, go with FireFox it's much better.
As for IE7, sometimes I still use it, the 64bit version not the 32bit.

are most of you illiterate or just trying to avoid the tread starter's question? he's asking how to bloddy downgrade, not for a freaking alternate. if he's saying that ie7 is hard to use then obviously he would prefer ie6, not what any of you would prefer.

and timtim, spamming google chrome doesn't help anyone, and is an absolute pain.
