I will be using it mostly as a desktop replacement, although I occasionally do bring it to school.

The 9800M GTS can play Crysis on High; I can go to Medium if the FPS is too low.

has decent specs, i don't know much about the prices of laptops though so i can't tell if it's a good deal

Alright. I'm placing the order tonight. Price is $1,399. I might be able to find it somewhere else for cheaper.
