| I have a laptop with a built in wireless card, is there any way to connect to a wireless network, then set up a network via HUB, and connect to my desktop, and share the internet with my desktop? |

yup. go to the network setup wiz and make a connection that's "this computer connects irectly to the internet and other computers on the network connect to the internet through this one". Then choose the wireless connection and the ethernet connection.
