well i downloaded and installed this windows vista brico pack and it look and worked great the first time i restarted my laptop, but then it lagged like hell i left it there for 20 mins and it was still loading... so now i cant access my laptop the well, i turned off and restarted my latop again and logged on as usual and the login screen just stays there
i need help to fix this problem!

okay i uninstalled the windows vista bricopack! BUT my laptop is performing the same way when i had the Bricopack installed

try booting in safe mode and uninstalling it, maybe your pc doesn't handle the aero effects etc. very well

This.
Do NOT use bricopacks. I used them when it was the first kind of skinning I ever did, but thats just what it is. A nub skinner. Poorly packaged and poorly executed, it will cost you a ton more system resources to use a bricopack as opposed to using SXP or WB6.

| okay well idk how to use safe mode! x( i have a gateway laptop i think i got it in 2006-2007ish http://www.laptoppicker.com/archives/gateway-mx6931-laptop.jpg this is what i have! yea so if u know how to work this laptp into safe mode please tell me i really have to get this brico pack off! i liked the skin and features but it was just too much! and i dont want to have to reboot it cuz im gonna lose precious maplestory files my blackout RO and more games and file i like

Adding on to that, use Windows Defender to track down startup programs and remove them, and change it to default stuff or use system restore.

| okay well i removed the vista theme and now i still cant log into my laptop well i can its just that its lagging just like the vista theme! maybe its because of the avast AV eversince it deleted one of my viruses it lagged my whole laptop up

You don't need Windows Defender to do that.
MSCONFIG in run.
As far as your problem, you might of gotten 3rd party bloatware installed along with that bricopack.
What I think is that you're experiencing a hang because of a virus or a batshit AV. Google and download HiJackThis! KInstall it and run a scan. C+P the logfile to Hijackthis.de and 'fix' anything marked as bad.
If it doesn't help, your AV is going batshit and causing 100% CPU load.
Its happened to me with ESET's NOD32 on TinyXP.

| well i have reformatted laptop ands its moving great! (5 points for me, i got rid of that unwanted crap...) well i made another problem... i cant connect/use my wireless internet adaptor until i turn it on using my hardware switch and idk where or what that is!

You need to figure out your WNIC and download it's drivers.
