I'm going to build a gaming Pc for around $600 no higher.

I suggest going with this for a cd/dvd r/w, should knock about $55 off, and if you want you could put that towards a HD4850 should get close to 2x the fps and i hear the 4000 series come with physics processors.

Also, i don't see any RAM up there? You can look for some 2gb ram here i'm using 4gb for $52 after rebate.

Edit: Your CPU comes with a fan and HS so you don't need the $30 one, the stock seems to keep it cool enough from scanning over reviews.

Do not get a open box item, they're most likely defective or got some weird issues with it.

The 3rd party fan you picked is for Intel 775 cpus, what you need is theArctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro

I would agree that getting open box items is a bad idea, every one I've bought off Newegg has had some weird problem or was defective entirely.

Invest in a better quality PSU, Raidmax is garbage and a PSU is the worst spot to cheap out, try this one:

You're also paying way too much for the optical drive, you can easily find good burners for around $20-25.
