prob making static IP in VISTA

according to www.portforward.com my cmd window should look like this:


but it actually looks like this:


the Autoconfigurationenabled is stopping me from seeing my name servers IP addys so i can't go any further Confused

anyone done this on a VISTA machine before and know what i should do?

I have also tried to make a static IP on vista and have the same problem

Try disabling DHCP Server in your router settings (type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser). Then you should be able to manually assign static IP addresses.
