I want to upgrade my memory on my laptop (only got 1 GB but vista sucks it all up) I want to buy this 1 GB DDR2 http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en&section=1&group=2&product=6391
Then I'll have 1.5 GB ram (2 slots, 512+1GB = 1.5 maximum memory my laptop can have is 2 GB) my problem is that it lists what laptops it is compatible with. I have a Satellite A100 and it's not on the list but when I checked the manual it said that I could use the 1 GB DDR2. It's only 35$ so it's not a big deal but would it still be alright to buy and it would it work? if it doesn't work would it fuck up my notebook?
