well i reformated and installed vista again sad
but my c drive showed on 40 gigs and D drive was 10 gigs as usual wheres the rest 250 gigs so i dl a partioner software they let me make a new drive and i put the 250 gigs in the new R drive
but i now i want some gigs to the c drive like i want to take away some gigs from the R drive and put it to the main c drive how do i do that

Did you disconnect ur hard drive?

Vista has it's own disk partitioner/manager. Right click "Computer", from the drop down list, select "Manage", and under "Storage", choose "Disk Management". Shrink volume R, and expand volume C.

i did that but its free space not unloacted the green one so it doesnt add in the c drive
