maybe try this script?

Then log onto admin and now get onto CP. |

Ok here's how it goes down, my account is limited so I made administrator active and logged in and I go to control panel>users and when it opens up I get a stupid error message saying there's a script in internet explorer and then it doesn't work.
So I need some way to do it via cmd.
Or I'm stuck having to log into Admin every time I want to do something. |

ye. Use 'net user' or change it using system tools. Either way should work.
| Code: | C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>net user ?
The syntax of this command is:
NET USER
[username [password | *] [options]] [/DOMAIN]
username {password | *} /ADD [options] [/DOMAIN]
username [/DELETE] [/DOMAIN] |

Go on your administrator account, go to the start menu, then drag my computer onto desktop, right click on it, then, go to manage, go to local users and groups on the left side panel, then go to users, then right click on your limited account, then, go to properties, then, go to member of, at the top, then, go to add, then type in administrators, then, click apply, then, ok, then, you should have your limited account an admin. _________________

User accounts fail?
Try using Nablet's response. |
