I'm looking for a laptop. It's mostly used for school. How much would it cost?
Brand: Any except Mac
OS: Cheapest one possible (Vista Home Basic is OK, I can get the OS elsewhere)
Processor: Intel T8300 or better (AMD equivalent is OK too)
RAM: 3GB or more
Hard-Drive: 500GB or more (I download a lot of stuff)
Graphics Card: I don't play any games so any is fine (GMA X3100 is OK, as long as dragging windows w/ aero doesn't lag)
Screen-size: cheapest possible (sometimes, a 17" is cheaper than a 14.1") because it doesn't matter to me
Size: Doesn't matter, as long as somewhat portable
Weight: <15 lbs is good enough, again, I'm looking for cheapest available (EX: if adding 2 lbs saves me $50, I'll take it)
I can buy it online or at a store. Please post a link to the page. Thanks guys.
