Cheat Engine

so yeah. this is gonna be long and not make sense but...herr goes.
okay. heres my computer, a happy little bunny running through the feilds of the internet. anyways, i was moving to wyoming and i had to unhook my moniter.....and when i went to unplug it, i was like, oh crap, because the cheap ass screws were bent...and i tried and tried to unplug them for like 10 min because i was high. and they wouldnt come open, so i ripped out the plug. and i was going on world of warcraft and a window popped up, "unable to find sutible display device, exiting program" and i was like, what because it wont show world of warcraft, but my computer screen was working fine. obviously something needs replaced. i suppose it would either be, the screen plugin (a new moniter) or the plug in place it self. ( a new video card) and im poor as hell, so i dont wanna take my chances buying either untill i know what the hell is going on.
[EDIT] i just realized that i didnt ask a question o.o, any words of advice and or explanations.
