|
|
Well, I normally do not make trainers using CE, but I am working on a bunch of game requests so I decided to go ahead and try out the CE Trainer Maker, and it just does not work for me.
For example, I can get the address, freeze it, change it, etc all in CheatEngine, but when I make a trainer that edits the address, it just does not work.
Anyone have any idea why?

Whats happening?
Cheat Engine thinks your adding a address thats value is already preset and doesn't need to be changed. Meaning you already have that address in your Cheat Table and it won't work.
How to fix
When you get to the advance settings option and ready to create a trainer make sure that your address is in the Cheat Table. Also create a description on that address (E.X: Money Hack).
Now in the trainer maker input all the correct settings for the program (Launch file, process, icon, etc) and then click on Add Entry. Now click on the Add button. This will bring up your cheat setup. Basically choose one of the ratios on what you want the hack to do and then input a value (if your ratio says you can). Also tick if you want to user to change this value.
Now double click on the description of the address. This will tell Cheat Engine to apply the effects above to the address. After that press Add.
Click on the newly added cheat and below under description put in your Cheat name and then a hotkey for it. Next press Add. You should now have it on your cheat GUI.
This should work, reply back with results.
This link should help a lot:

Thanks ColdBlade and DarkByte for your help!
I'm going to try and use some pointers and see what happens.
@ColdBlade, I did exactly what you just told me, and it did not work. I also read that guide just to make sure I was doing it right, and still, no positive results

I guess you should use pointers then if the game your making the trainer for uses dynamic memory allocations for the addresses.
