My computer always tells me my devices can perform faster on a USB 2.0 slot, and it shows me I have one but every USB slot I try doesn't appear to be it. Any suggestions how to get it to work? =S |

Your thinking their is some sort of software with it?
A 2.0 USB is simply a USB. It just reads the memory quicker, and better. Same as any old USB, just plug and play (if the device allows that). _________________

The device allows, and I've tried every port on my computer. In device manager is shows me I have one, but none of them seem to be it. Could I be missing a driver for it? |

Oh, the device.
Try installing the driver then. _________________

If the driver doesn't fix it, the controller is probably one that uses a header on the board. Why they'd put the only USB 2.0 on a header is beyond me, but you'd need a USB bracket then to utilize the full bandwidth of your devices. |

Because Chinese people made it...and Americans designed it.... _________________
