I want to create a partition, but I can only seem to find things that will allow me to do it on "free space" or something?

I have two current partitions or w/e.

I have a D:\, and a C:\.

My D:\ drive has windows installed, and has 60 some gigs, the C:\ only about 4.

Now, I wanna create on off of my D:\, but I can't seem to figure it out..

Can any one help me here?

download norton partition magic (you can get a full version if you download a torrent). it's pretty self explanatory and it will let you resize partition, to make room for another one, like what you're trying to do.

Norton's Partition Magic is pretty good and has been what I've used for about 2 years.

If you want to dual boot, though, make sure you get Boot Magic as well.

You can also use Acronis Disk Director. Very handy program.
