almost every file is giving me this shit



I AM THE FUCKING ADMINISTRATOR >________________<
it started with avg telling me i had viruses in my system 32 folder, even though their not! and my sisters were on myspace and this weird 'mobster' page.

this is pissing me off!!! >_< anyone help me?

EDIT: its fucking avg overeacting again Sad any1 know a GOOD antivirus thats free and isnt over-protective??

go with nod32. it's easy to get from lots of torrent sites and doesn't overreact for me.

What you can first do is disable AVG and see if that error still occurs. If it still does then it's probably not AVG.

Even if you are the administrator it does not mean you have access the all the rights on your PC.
What you can try to do is set user rights in the security settings tab and take ownership of the files you would like to open.

For XP Pro: Open folder options and uncheck "use simple file sharing".
Then right click on the file or folder and click properties. Now you should see a security tab. Set permissions for yourself for the files you want to access.

For XP Home: "simple file sharing" is not available.
