| ? you're referring to dual core and quad core? Dual core has two cores, quad core has four cores.

A Dual Core Processor and Dual Processors can mean both the same things and different things (depending on whether the person that typed it knows what they're actually talking about).
A dual core processor is a CPU with 2 execution cores.
Dual processors are 2 processors, for example, server motherboards and Skulltrail.
They could also mean the same things if the person didn't care about putting "core" into dual processor.

Thanks superweapons, I do know the difference between the physical object but not the performance.
my dad build a computer about 5 years ago, it's got duel pent 3 processors in.
and in my latest computer i've got a intel core duo 2 processor.
It it better to have a dule core processor or 2 single core processors?
