I am fairly new to asm and after installing masm I can't find the exe of the program. I figured that I could just open up one of the tutorial documents and it would open up masm but it just opens up assembler source files in visual studio. Can someone explain to me where the exe is for masm or how to use visual studio with ASM?

MASM has it's own editor, i wouldn't use VS.

it's like qeditor or something.

Try saving it as a .asm file first. Then try compiling->linking->running.

I found all the commands you refereed to but nothing happens when I push them. I saved my example, hit compile, hit link, hit run and none of them did anything. Not even an error message.

Code:

program helloWorld;
#include( "stdlib.hhf" );

begin helloWorld;

    stdout.put( "Hello, World of Assembly Language", nl );

end helloWorld;

That's HLA (High Level Assembly). It's like C# vs C.

Anyways, if you want to program in that language, go here: http://webster.cs.ucr.edu/AsmTools/HLA/dnld.html

If you plan on hacking maple story through cheat engine I suggest you search for Auto Assembly (AA) tutorials on CEF. If you plan on making your own programs to hack maple story I suggest you go here:

Looks more like a gay version of Pascal to me.

But isn't the whole point of Assembly to be as low level as it gets?
