well i download stuff from bittorrent, and i went on holiday for 2days and when i came back the downloads had stopped cause i was so inactive it logged me off and closed bittorrent

i left my pc in locked mode and i wont it so it doesnt log me off next time i go so how do i stop it from doing this, sometimes when i come back the screen has no input and when i press space it shows and it was still downloading but thats only around 6-7 hours. but i am guessing after a day it just closes or something so is there an option i can do to stop this.

Try this fella.This is for win xp, not sure about vista. Right click on your desktop screen and choose properties. When the new window pops up
click the <Screen saver tab> then the power button.
Then another window should pop up. The first tab is Power schemes. Make sure there all set to <Never>.

go to the power options in control panel, the rest is self-explanatory. you can change options like your computer logging off after a certain amount of time, after being inactive.
