Vista

It's been out for a while so there shouldn't be any driver issues anymore.
DirectX 10 is another cool feature.
It has a Nice GUI

I'm running vista and I've only ever had 1 problem.
It was my video card drivers, but it was solved in 3 days.
This issue happened in the 2nd week of vista's release.
It has been a while now so there shouldn't be any issues.
Also SP1 has also been release making vista a sucess.

If you have a decent PC, go for vista. Otherwise go XP.

Okay this time probably no one is saying "Don't get Vista" because Vista is shit... They are saying it because you have a laptop, and barely many PCs are ready for Vista...

So XP

if u want the cool looking GUI, i suggest u just get vista instead of going thru the hassle of installing all these stuff for XP.

unless ur actually going to pay for it, go with vista.
