1. how do i download something from a link?
2. how do i make him search a textfile for some words/letters?
3. what do i use for a part i dont know/ i dont care about
example:
i want him to search for every url begining with "www." and ending with ".gif"

He said what he did because you ask basic questions ALL THE TIME. Every single post in this section that you ask is a basic question that you would learn if you took the time and read up on the language. And no, just because he didn't hand you the answer on a silver platter does not mean he doesn't know.

Locking this and any future posts you make that ask a question about something basic. Do yourself, and all of us, a favor and go read.
