ret - this is return right?

ret 4 - this is ????

ret 8 - this is ????

and what are the other combination/forms of this ret
a sample would be nice

All you would need to know is after call'ing a function, is to use ret at the end of it to transfer program control back to the area where the call originated Smile

it means to take that number of bytes of the stack before returning.

e.g if the call was:
push #2000
push #1000
call routine

then it'd be ret 8 at the end to also remove those 2 pushes
