Sorry for two topics but the other problem is resolved, anyway.

For the past two weeks or so my internet connection has been going on and off at certain parts of the day. Sometimes it will be working fully and other times it will be on and off like there is no tomorrow. I usually unplug the cord that goes from router to modem (I think) for about 10-60 seconds plug it back in and it sometimes works again.

Stuff to know:

I have a DMZ enabled for xbox live to have an open NAT. I had to open two ports to have my NAT opened, but the guides said it would not pose a threat to my computer/connection.

I have a linksys router.

This has happened in the past and I had to get a new router three times.

When I go on xbox live to test my connection when it isn't working it says the IP failed.

I share a connection with 3 other laptops in the house.(wireless)

AND

Anyone know how to "bypass" or turn off an internet connection block set on my computer from my dad's laptop? The internet automatically goes at at 1 o clock, just on my computer though. I can still play live and it doesn't go out on my brothers computer either.
