I was wondering since R4's are nowhere to be found can you guys tell me of any other tools that I can use to download ds roms straight to my ds just like R4 would really appreciate it THX.

If you're concerned about DS emulators "not working very well", then use no$GBA.

You'll need to steal "biosnds7.rom", "biosnds9.rom" and "firmware.bin" off your DS for most games to work properly.
Additionally, you'll need to encrypt most games with eNDryptS Advanced for the game to run.
