when i plug my ipod into my computer, itunes opens up, and on the graph that shows how much memory i have left on my ipod, it says i have 14.07 GB's of "other". i just restored my ipod so it should be nearly empty, with barely any "other" files, which im guessing are really system files. my friend says that when i restored, my ipod thought my music was "other" files, thus keeping them on the device when i restored. he told me to go to my ipod in "my computer" to delete the files manually, but its not even there. how can i remove all of my old files? or maybe you can tell me how to get my ipod to show up in "My Computer... help please.

When plugged in,
Goto my computer, it'll read a new disc,
If you hear a system bleep, it mean's the hardware is attached,
if not, you need to install it, or it automaticly does it,
however, computers are made to not make mistakes,
which i doubt that ur ipod deleted the wrong files.

see if there is a certain amount of your ipod's hard drive devoted to back up.

or just stop conforming to apple and buy a zune.
