i think you can, i don't own a laptop so ive never popped one open, im pretty sure most computers can have ram upgrades unless it's like a 1 port mother board.

Yup you can, but check the maximum amount of ram your laptop can handle first, what laptop do you have?

yeh you can
and there is a difference between normal desktop ram and laptop ram
so if you ask for ram always specify if you want laptop or desktop
