Hello,
I'm having a few difficulties with the "find out" functions. On some memory addresses, this works perfectly, on others, it crashes my program (but cheat engine still runs).
The addresses which seem to cause explosions are lower ones, for example: 0x12EA08. This particular program is a universal flash trainer.
Anyone else have problems with this?

first thing: that's the stack and being accessed by multiple pieces of code. Possibly even unrelated.
And go to settings->code finder to make sure it's set to debug registers

I tried both the Debug Register and Memory access exceptions, both exploded.
However, I was able to get a few addresses which lead me to my answer before my program crashed by doing the following:
* Set a breakpoint on some code I was interested in.
* Created an infinite loop (bytecode ended up being FEEB)
* Added this address to my memory watch list manually
* Got out of the debugger
* Used the "find what accesses this address" on 12EA08.
* Changed FEEB to 9090.
This was a workaround on the fact that you can't seem to "find what accesses" and be in the debugger at the same time.
Would it be hard to have some sort of option to "relinquish" control over to the "find what accesses", when you're at a breakpoint / in the debugger?
