Just curious because I have'nt tried in a very long time to do this but is making a UCE pretty much the same as it used to be say 1 year ago where you have to change all the detected strings and comment out this and that?

Yes. There are some more things you need to do though too, like editing the GUI some as some protections detect the GUI setup, size, strings, etc. as well.

So in your opinion Wiccan would it just be easier if i can just code a dll trainer instead of trying to go through a cheat engine source or would you find it to be easier going through the UCE method? Any input into this is gratefully appreciated

I don't know Delphi, I rather refuse to learn it as I see it being a waste of time to learn the language. Which results in me not ever attempting to make a UCE. I have never needed one. Most of the games I have played either don't have any, or have really basic cheat protection.

You will need some way to obtain the addresses that will be used inside your trainer so making a UCE will help you with that, I however highly suggest if you ever make a UCE that works and bypasses the cheat protection, don't release to ANYONE. Even your closest friends, don't give it out. That is how they get leaked, patched, etc. Then all that work you did will have to be done again.

In the end, I would suggest if you plan to release anything, release a trainer and not the UCE.

Thanks wiccan i appreciate the advice I think I will follow it and Just keep the UCE to myself and you know what maybe I just will say forget being nice and even releasing a trainer really isn't any sense in it I guess all the people will treat it like they treayed PG hack and abuse it and get it patched asap so that being said Thanks wiccan

Heh, what you make is your choice to release. It's always nice to share, but as you said, there will always be the ones that will abuse it and get it patched. Sometimes its more fun just to release things on crappier games and watch them just fall apart lol. (NosTale was like this when MaTT and I released the speed hack, so many people used it. Then Labs bot added to the pain lol.)

But for other games that have serious protection, it's better to keep things private until you are done with the game, then releasing is always a nice gesture. (Open source at that.)

Do what you feel is needed to keep it alive in your sense of how you want to use it. Like I said, you made it, it's up to you what you do with it.
