I wanted to ask two questions.
1. Can I run Windows based games on a Mac (Like Crysis) without having to install boot camp?
2. If I make my own computer and such, would I be able to install Leapord (Macs OS) on the rig? Or would I run into some resistance? *assuming I use http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188024] that motherboard.

I dont think so, without boot camp you probably cant, especially if its crysis..
Unless it has required specs, dont think Mac has DX10

Theres a program called virtual pc I think, you should look it up, and my cousin has a mac, he has bootcamp, but you need a good motherboard and have a dual core processor, so its pretty expensive... but powerful

I did some Googling and I came up with 2 results. Parallels desktop 3.0 and VMware Fusion. Now my question is, do they have the things I need to play video games? (Direct 10 X, etc etc)

1. On a mac alone you cant run 95% of games the only ones i know that work off the top of my head are i think most blizzard game are compatible (like wow)
2. Even if you build your own computer you wont be able to install normal leopard on it you'd just have to get a cracked version of leopard (google hackintosh)
and even if you run VMwarefusion you'll still need a windows xp disk or vista so i think your best bet would be if you want a mac just install vista / xp with boot camp and if you want DX 10 you need to install vista

1. No, you can't run 95% of the world's software on a Mac. What a bargain.
2. No, Mac's use an EFI rather than a standard BIOS, they won't install on a standard machine natively. However, there have been cracks to allow it to work well on a regular machine.
Just know that installing OSX on a standard machine is about the worst thing you could do. The reason OSX is usually more stable than Windows based machines, is because the hardware is all the same and the drivers are written by Apple themselves so it all works together properly. Now install OSX on a machine with 10,000 random drivers from third party companies, and watch that stability go out the window.
