for 99$ i'm not really a heavy gamer and im not prepared to spend alot for a graphics card and my local computer hardware store only has the 8500GT in stock so yeah..

I had the 256mb version of that card, I could run Halo(1) at full settings, and just noticed a tad of lag (still very playable)

$30 more for an 8800GS at Newegg. You can overclock it and get similar performance.

At that price, you should be able to buy an 8600GTS OC'd. All retailers (not including etailers) except for Frys have really horrible prices. They rip off tons of people. What a disgrace that Best Buy is in first!

ummm lol with that gfx card you cant lag on halo unless your internet sucks or your cpu ...or your mobo... but the cpu and mobo have to do with nuttin... so i guess your internet sucks...
